This temporary work was exhibited at M16 Artspace, Canberra in the group exhibition Light Industrial, as part of the Crossing Boundaries Project which celebrated the diversity of participation in the artist run space as well as the quirky nature of the site itself.  In 2009 M16 was housed in a former industrial site in Fyshwick.  Cherry Tree was comprised entirely of pressed and dried leaves collected durring the autumn from a much loved cherry tree just outside the gallery.  The carefully ordered leaves were pinned directly to the gallery wall, and scattered on the floor bellow.
